What determines your landed cost
Goods value
The invoice price of the products. Unit price, order quantity and any tier discounts agreed with the supplier set this figure.
Freight and insurance
Sea, air or express rates depend on volume, weight, route and Incoterms. Cargo insurance is commonly a small percentage of goods value.
Duty and taxes
Duty depends on the HS code and the destination country. VAT or GST is usually charged on the customs value plus duty.
Other charges
Customs brokerage, terminal handling, documentation, inspection and local delivery are often billed separately.
Packaging and lead time
Custom packaging, MOQ and production schedule affect price and shipping method. Ask us for details: [TBD].
Formula: CIF = goods + freight + insurance; duty = CIF × duty rate; VAT = (CIF + duty) × VAT rate; total = CIF + duty + VAT + other charges; per unit = total ÷ quantity.
This tool provides an estimate only. Actual duty, tax and fee rules vary by country and product; confirm with your customs broker.
